Therapy Methods

Couple Therapy

Every couple has communication patterns. Oftentimes these develop into a negative interaction cycle where one partner brings a concern, and the other partner has an emotional reaction. The cycle escalates from there and both partners are left feeling alone. Over time, these negative interactions can lead to avoidance.

How can partners bring concerns and respond to them in a healthy way? In session, we begin to understand these patterns and practice vulnerability, opening up to taking risks. Once connection is reliable and trust is accessed, it becomes easier to solve problems that previously seemed insurmountable.
